KUKMP Uses Fintech to Simplify Retribution Payments

The rapid development of financial technology (Fintech) is vital to propelling future economic growth, but it requires a prudent regulatory approach to avoid a bust. 

It aims to make them more orderly paying retribution

No wonder, by involving the Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD), Bank DKI and Tokopedia, the Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Agency has launched this technology in a bid to facilitate traders of the coaching location (lokbin) and temporary shelter (loksem) in terms of retribution payments.

The launching itself was attended by representatives consist of 250 traders under lokbin and loksem located at the KUKMP Agency's Multipurpose Room, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

Smart Consumer Movement Socialized to Residents

"It aims to make them more orderly paying retribution. Hopefully, in future, all obstacles encountered can be overcome and no more traders are in arrears," disclosed Jakarta KUKMP Agency Head, Adi Ariantara, Wednesday (7/3). 

His agency has provided kiosks at 218 points of business location used by 11,610 people. Since 2015, payment has been using the Bank DKI autodebet and then upgraded since April 2019.

"To pay retribution receivables since 2015 until March 2019 is done through issuance of the letter for regional retribution (SKRD) and its payment can be done through Bank DKI tellers and Tokopedia," he explained.

Therefore, the agency will keep innovating and making a new breakthrough for prospering entrepreneurs.

"This is our commitment to realize the Jakarta city that is more advance and happy, including traders,” he asserted.
